Zayo appoints Mindy Mount to board of directors
BOULDER, Colorado – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Zayo Group Holdings, a leading global provider of fiber optic communications solutions, today announced that Melinda “Mindy” Mount has joined its board of directors and will chair the audit committee. Mount, who has led major divisions at several global media and technology companies, brings a unique and diverse perspective to a board already filled with veterans of communications infrastructure.

Most recently, Mount was President of Jawbone, a consumer technology and wearable products company. Prior to Jawbone, Mount worked at Microsoft, where she held various financial and operational leadership roles including corporate vice president and chief financial officer for the online services division and corporate vice president of operations. and finance for the entertainment and devices division. She also held senior positions at AOL and Time Warner, and specialized in mergers and acquisitions as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley.
Mount is currently a board member of Learning Care Group, Cerner Corporation and Group Nine Acquisition Corp. She is also vice-chair of the board of directors and chair of the audit committee of Technicolor.
Mount holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Operations Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
