Treat yourself to the ultimate self-care weekend at this new 3-day wellness festival
Considering the state of the world right now, you’d be forgiven for feeling a bit lackluster lately. And while fit-fluencers might tell you to crack a green juice and do yoga, there’s an awesome new wellness festival that’s going to blow those old, outdated “healthy” ideals out of the water.
Taking place on scenic Mandurah Foreshore for three days in February, Status of flow is a revolutionary new wellness weekend focused on all aspects of health and wellness, from financial well-being to sexual and mental health. Think mindfulness and Malbec rather than kale smoothies and burpees.
They have a huge range of speakers to educate, motivate and inspire – we’re talking about nutritionists, iconic leaders and entrepreneurs of the movement, sex and relationship gurus, and queens of finance. There will also be inspiring workshops, off-site events, a beauty bar and workshop tent, as well as food and music experiences to enjoy as well.
So buckle up, it’s time to get healthy. And we’re not just talking about the â2’s and 5’sâ and 30 minutes of exercise a day. To give you an idea of ââwhat to expect, their first round of announced speakers include:
Chantelle OttenâEducator, consultant and Instagram sensation, Chantelle Otten, is a psycho-sexologist whose mission is to break the taboo around sex and pleasure.
Anita VandykeâAnita is a true rocket scientist and then some⦠no seriously, she’s also a doctor, artist, zero waste conservationist and award-winning author dedicated to improving the health of our planet.
Benjamin BrionieCancer survivor and storyteller Briony Benjamin’s heartfelt manifesto on what to do when life gets tough is a roadmap for anyone who runs into one of life’s (many) curveballs.
Danielle Caruana (Mama Kin) âthis singer-songwriter and co-founder of a philanthropic foundation for artists, Seed, is a natural storyteller with a talent for creative reinvention and bringing communities together.
Lucy Peach– Award-winning performer and period preacher, Lucy Peach wants nothing more than people to truly possess their power. And through her sold-out “My Greatest Period Ever” show, and the Tedx conference and book that followed, she’s helped women around the world do just that.
Sarina KaminiâSpice Mistress and Journalist Sarina Kamini combines her immense understanding of food, spices, culture and family into one great bundle of knowledge.
