Textiles Committee Secretary Ajit Chavan inaugurates Techtextil India in Mumbai
Bringing together the technical textile industry after a period of two years, Techtextil India 2021 opened today in Mumbai and was inaugurated by key figures from industry and government. The show aims to showcase the future potential of technical textiles by building on a series of knowledge sessions, live product demonstrations and B2B networking opportunities.
Reconnecting the technical textile value chain for the very first time after containment, Techtextil India 2021 has kicked off in Mumbai. The aim of the organizer of Messe Frankfurt India through the new edition is to promote the unification of the industry and support business recovery throughout the technical textiles value chain.

The second day is expected to host the next chapter of the Techtextil India Digital Symposium, allowing attendees to get a feel for the main growth prospects and emerging opportunities in India. Aiming to âTransform India’s technical textile landscape through innovation and investmentâ, the virtual platform will feature a series of sessions on foreign direct investment opportunities and policies, foreign direct investment opportunities and policies, investment in Tamil Nadu, investments and opportunities in South Carolina for the technical textiles sector, PLI and New investment opportunities, sustainable technical textiles and a sustainable global approach for textiles with antimicrobial performance.
