ROH tape library available for highest bidder
An update on the ROH tape library.
According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the Ring of Honor Band Library (the archive owned by Sinclair from 2012) is accessible to the highest bidder and has been available for over a year. The tape library includes the footage in All In. AEW owns the All In trademark, but ROH has the footage from the event.
According to the report, the company is asking for a lot more than what the current market dictates.
On Wednesday, the promotion announced Wednesday that it will no longer host live events, except for Final Battle on December 11, until April with Super Card of Honor. Not only is ROH on hiatus for live events, talent contracts will not be renewed if they expire at the end of the year, but those still under contract will be paid until March 31.
The company would be open to working with talent to find new bookings.
