Nike Spring-Summer 2022 Collection Release Date
The Sportswear division is set to launch a new apparel line consisting of new fleeces, rain jackets and canvas materials, all of which come from manufacturing waste. Technical outerwear, everyday pants and Windrunner jackets designed with 75% recycled TPU are thrown into the mix. The Nike Tech Pack will further expand its catalog with coveralls, an EcoDown vest and coveralls, all made with nylon, recycled polyester or organic cotton fibers. Nike Pro – which is designed for professional and amateur athletes – will continue to make compression shorts and tights, but with at least 50% recycled polyester.
Nike Air and Nike Air Max will be highlights for the brand this year, and both categories will roll out a slew of new colorways of both classic and modern silhouettes. Popular offerings such as the Air Max 90, Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 have been reworked with synthetic leather and recycled polyester, while the Air Max Motif and Air Max Dawn have been modified with at least 20% recycled polyester. The Waffle One, Blazer and Dunk will now be constructed with a mix of recycled synthetic leather, recycled polyester and Nike Grind rubber. Joining those ranks is Swoosh’s new Sun Club assembly which sees the Dunk Low, Air Force 1 Low, Blazer Low and Court Vision Low all featuring bold colors and constructions of recycled textiles and synthetic suede.
