Mets Board Oyj: Mets Board buys all shares of Hmeenkyrn Voima Oy

Metsä Board, which is part of the Metsä group, buys from Pohjolan Voima Oyj all the shares of Hämeenkyrön Voima Oy that it owns. Metsä Board announced its intention to buy the shares on September 27, 2021. In addition, Metsä Board will buy from DL Power Oy, which is part of the Leppäkoski group, all the shares of Hämeenkyrön Voima Oy that it owns. Both transactions were finalized on January 1, 2022, after which Metsä Board will own 100% of Hämeenkyrön Voima Oy. The transaction will not have a significant impact on Metsä Board’s key figures.
