“Bill Fritz and his Daughter Sandy” featuring an artist from the art center and his daughter

“This unique ‘father / daughter art exhibit’ presents us with two totally different approaches to making an artistic statement… and yet I step away from the excitement of watching it with the absolute knowledge that these two talented artists have something very special in common. They both love what they are able to share with the world through their art, ”commented Diana Wade, Chair of the Art Center Board of Directors.

“Many of Bill’s evocative oils come from places familiar to all of us who cherish this part of the country. Scenes near Estes Park… the scenes that could be nearby are all presented in a gentle, almost poetic way. And his portraits show much more than the facial features of his subjects. You kind of have an idea of what exactly these people are feeling right now. And, believe me, it’s hard to do!

“Sandy’s work in acrylic / mixed media and collage is at times wonderfully chaotic, always full of color and movement, and never ceases to reflect her utter joy in creating art. And she creates art of all kinds: framed paintings for your walls; exciting “whimsical poles” for your garden (they come with solar caps to glow at night!); and kits, complete with everything you will need to complete a mixed media collage.
